been a minute

The past few weeks have been extremely stressful and I've just kind of been holding my breath until it passes. It all feels like its lifting... slowly, but definately receding.

Of course all my stresses culminated in on dramatic drunken stupid night... apologies to all involved ...but, it was my last show, that chapter is done. And the getting excessively drunk in public aka being "joe fucking boots-drunk".. Sadly, is over too.
I'm sure it was entertaining to some, irritating to others.

But for real, I need to focus, I know what my strengths are, I know what my weaknesses are. My weaknesses will win if I let them ... its cuz the weaknesses are easier to achieve... get drunk, get high (fire tree only)... be lazy... don't work as hard...
all that bullshit is easy..

Fuck that.

I'm done with that.

Part of the reason I've been so stressed is because I'm down to the wire.. Its time to put up or shut up for real... and I have to give this my all.. This has to work ... and all of the problems I have now = gone when I have all my own equipment... If I want to make any money now being a print "go between" I have to rape customers wallets... so I'm bein the middle man, not making any money ... but hopefully.. I have them as clients when the time comes.. Is that fucked up? Fuck it.. Its business

And for real. The people wouldn't necessarily have gone to my source.. So I'm helpin there business now ..

Well.. So.

i start my externship april 27th which is a mere 4 weeks away..

im externing at TIME BOMB SPOT and im really looking forward to it. brick said ill be doin some cool stuff and hes gonna show me the ins and outs of owning and operating a small to medium sized business..

i mean, time bomb has been around for like 15 years and have been the most successful and all around best spot pittsburgh has to offer for the hip hop subculture..

so joey boots will officially be on the east end regularly from april 27 to june 29th..

we spoke today about having me hand painting tee shirts in the shop on saturdays in may because hes going to do the guest deejays in the store for different weekly sales.. also hope to help with setting those up

i think this is going to be a very positive learning experience and i really appreciate the opportunity TIME BOMB is giving me

VESPA LIFE part 2

so.. the vespa has been an incredible addition to my life, sam loves too which is an added bonus! but for real... you cant not smile while driving this thing, no matter where im going when i get there im in a good ass mood no matter what because it is just SO MUCH FUN .. ive gone nearly 300 miles on 3 gallons of gas.. thats right THREE GALLONS OF GAS... THREE HUNDRED MILES!!!!

its fast (not too fast though max speed 45 on flat, 50 down hills, and about 20 up semi to steep hills), efficient, slick, sharp, cool, neat, awesome, sweet, and a shit ton of other adjectives you can cram in there.. there is little to no drawbacks ... only benefits ... insurance, $300 a year, no special license needed.. damn

drawbacks are the cold and rain.. but really, ill drive in that and itll still be fun.. kinda sucks but not too bad...ive been through worst.. the snow though, thats another thing .. these are not for winter usage.. unfortunately

VESPA LIFE

this is the best investment of my life, the weather hasnt been very cooperative the past couple days but its still the best. i just been scootin arahnd tahn n'at. all over the city just scootin, man!

i can park this at the bike rack at school... so no more 5 dollar parking bullshit, and definately no more fighting over the car with my wife. these are all great things and there are plenty more benefits , believe me, its really hard to NOT beef and cheese face on a scoot.. and the vespa is the rolls royce of the scooter world.

i love this fucking thing. i love my girlfriend. and ya know what else... i love my fucking life!!!!

its been a crazy couple a months, this winter has thoroughly kicked the shit out of me and im ready for the warm! mentally the winter has had me all fucked up just like mad irritated and frustrated but .. as long as it warms up, we'll be aite

I think this will do very nicely for the summer, not 100% on colorways (my colorblindness is starting to become an issue, straight up) but i am also going to get a SHIT TON of vinyl stickers with this printed on them and start the campaign, i think this is going to be my flagship design, just using different variations of this maybe.. something like "obey's giant"
